It’s not just about the food. We also have our amazing support team, who keep the business going, all having unique skills to compliment each other.  So here is a quick introduction to the amazing team who make up the professional, friendly, Lindy’s team:

Lindy

Director

She spent most of her career working at a senior level in the corporate dental sector. During a sabbatical she decided that she  wanted to learn how to cook properly as cooking had always been her passion. She qualified at the highest level in Catering & Hospitality, and won Student of the Year but didn’t anticipate working in the catering sector.   After unexpectedly being made redundant she decided to follow her passion and Lindy’s was formed.

Ian

Senior Chef, Hospitality and Events

Ian is experienced and passionate with 30 years of experience in the hospitality education and training sector. He has an exemplary track record for empowering learners with world class skills for the hospitality industry. He is very focused on equality and diversity and health and safety matters. He worked with Lindy when she first started out in the catering industry and works on dish and product development with her.

Emma

Manager

Emma always had a passion for cooking so decided to pursue a career in catering, which she had been doing successfully for the past decade. She started working for a local company at their in-house kitchen, passed all of her catering qualifications and then progressed up the ladder to managerial level. She started working in the Lindy’s team when they took over at Cengage and she really loves it. Emma particularly enjoys the creative side of catering and feels very lucky to be a part of a great team. She is looking forward to a great future as Lindy’s right arm.

Amelia

Office and Catering Assistant

Amelia attended college and since then have been working at Lindy’s for over a year. She recently started a Business Level 2 Apprenticeship. She enjoys her  job and the people she works with. Amelia really have a passion for food whether it’s tasting or making it!   Her  current focus is to gain my Business Level 3 NVQ, and then she wants to pursue a cooking and catering career at a senior level.

Kerris

Catering Assistant

Kerris lives in Andover. During school she knew she wanted to get into catering and was offered work experience one day a week through the school at Lindy’s. Kerris proved to be an asset and showed passion and Lindy to offer her an apprenticeship. That’s when she realised she wanted to pursue my career in catering. At 17 Kerris has recently completed her apprenticeship receiving a Level 2 NVQ Diploma she puts this down to the support and training she has received with her team colleagues.
